The journey takes around 3 hours, depending on transfer time at Madrid-Chamartín station. First, take the Renfe Cercanías train from Terminal 4 to Chamartín (about 15 minutes, with departures every 15 minutes). Trains from Madrid-Chamartín to León take around 2 hours: there are 5 departures on Friday evening and 3 on Saturday morning. For the return trip, there are 8 departures on Sunday. AVE and Alvia services include an onboard café, while Avlo and Intercity don’t.

It takes between 4 hours and 30 minutes and 5 hours. Alsa operates around 5 daily services, with no need to transfer.
